Ready for an incredible senior year?
Join a senior model team as just one more way to celebrate and enjoy senior year with your friends!
Each year I open up the opportunity to be a part of April Hurst Photography Senior Team. It's one of the most fun ways to remember this last year of high school.
What do you get? In addition to your own session, you'll have the opportunity to participate in additional photoshoots the summer before and during your senior year. Get ready for an unforgettable senior year and get some great senior photos too!
Who can apply? I'm searching for current high school juniors from the greater Joplin area, including Webb City, Carl Junction, Carthage, Joplin, and beyond!
Applications for the Class of 2025 have closed. Check back each January to join the new class of senior models.

Frequently Asked Questions
How does the application process work?
It's easy, sign up for my Senior VIP list. On January 27, you'll receive an application and all the info about the senior team. You'll have a couple weeks to complete your application and submit.
Who can sign be on the Senior Model Team?
The model team is open to current juniors, who will be 2025 Seniors. These seniors should be from the greater Joplin area, including Webb City, Joplin, Carthage, Carl Junction and beyond.
Can I invite my friends to apply?
Of course, please invite your friends to apply. Let's make the best senior memories. What could be more fun than being a senior model with your friends?
What perks do Model Team members receive?
Model Team members will have the opportunity to participate in various photo shoots, from studio shoots to outdoor shoots to a cap & gown shoot. I'd love to also incorporate ideas from our models for an extra session.
What if I can't make it to a Model shoot?
The shoots are designed to encourage team members to attend as many as they can. I do, however, know that your schedule may not allow you to attend every shoot.
Can I be a senior model for AHP and have another photographer take my photos?
By committing to AHP as a senior model, you are also committing to me as your photographer for your own personal session. You're representing my business for your senior year so your commitment should be to AHP.
What qualities do you look for in a senior model team member?
A model team member should be a senior who is excited about photographing their senior year. I'm looking for seniors who get along well with others and want to have fun. You do not need to have any modeling experience. We'll work together to make sure you are comfortable and enjoy these photo sessions.
