How lovely is this mother daughter duo who graduated the very same evening from Pittsburg State University in Pittsburg, KS! Mom completed her masters, while daughter graduated with a bachelors and has already made plans for grad school. This was a super fun grad session as we actually met up on campus an hour before their graduation ceremony to do their photo shoot. Talk about a fun night for this family and for me too. I enjoyed getting to celebrate right alongside them. I'd say graduating together is a moment to be celebrated and documented, and I'm so glad we did.
I've been honored to work together in Webb City School district with the mom part of this duo. She's been a classroom teacher for many years and has just completed her masters in counseling to take on the role of school counselor. She is making a great impact on our school!
As a Joplin senior photographer, it's an honor to be a part of capturing not only your senior session but to see the finale with cap and gown too. So congrats you two, and thanks for letting me be a part of your evening. A shoutout to family and friends who were a part, especially dad who has supported them both through the journey.
