Turning 5 is a pretty special milestone, and I was so glad to photograph this birthday girl in a studio session. All photos by family and senior photographer, April Hurst Photography.
Turning 5 is a pretty big deal and definitely worth capturing! This little cutie came in to the studio to document her birthday, and we sure did have fun. From the moment she arrived, she was all smiles and so easy to photograph. In planning how to capture her as a big 5 year old girl, her mom said that one of her favorite things is her cat Oscar. That sealed the deal, Oscar had to be included. We also threw some glitter because birthdays are a big deal. Soon she'll be off to kindergarten, so I'm glad we were able to pause time and remember her just like this.
We captured some personality moments too. What is a personality session you ask? It's a simplistic session that really puts the focus on your child in that moment in time. There's no need for a lot of props or distractions, just your kid shining brightly! This girl nailed it. She has such a sweet spirit and was a joy to photograph. Happy 5th Birthday!
