What a fun milestone session for this first birthday boy. I had a great time celebrating a special moment with this family. We met up in Carl Junction to capture some memories in honor of this sweet one. I love the tradition this mama has for all the boys. To celebrate the first birthday, she's captured each one of her boys seated on the same little crate with a bright bunch of balloons. Traditions are anchors for our families, and it's a joy for me to share in yours when I capture family photos.
This was a family I'd first photographed almost a year ago, and I loved seeing how each boy has grown. Mom and Dad deserve all the kudos for wrangling four boys for a weeknight photo shoot. They did it with style. We definitely made capturing the birthday boy the priority of this session, but at the same time, I love a quick moment for mom and dad as well as each brother individually. After getting the whole family to pose and smile, we were wrapping up the session, but of course, I found the boys in a big stick pile in the park. These are the little moments I love most. Simply stated, your kids will give that genuine smile and truly have fun at their photo session when they're playing. So let them play and have fun, and let's create a beautiful family memory.
